May 2015: Healthy Eating with Real Food
Margie Jameson, CHC, of Take 2 Wellness joined us for an interesting and informative (and delicious) "Lunch & Learn" seminar. While we enjoyed Mediterranean salads (see recipe below), Margie spoke to us about how to develop a deeper understanding of food choices that can improve our energy, balance and health. We learned more about what food labels really mean, and what produce was on the Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 lists. Links to handouts are below. Then participants got "hands-on" by making Energy Bites (recipe also below) to take home and enjoy!
